The project was implemented for the joint venture “Inkay” and focused on the introduction of BIM technologies within the surveying and geodesy department, as well as on integrating processes across the company’s engineering divisions.
As part of the project, specialists were trained to work with Inventor, Plant 3D, and Civil 3D, taking into account mechanical design tasks, technological processes, and geodetic operations. The training was oriented toward the practical application of these tools in ongoing projects.
To integrate the work of mechanical engineers, technologists, and surveyors, the BIM 360 environment was configured, allowing data to be consolidated within a single information space and improving the consistency of design decisions.
Civil 3D was customized for topographic surveying and the design of engineering networks. Additionally, plugins were developed to automate the creation of specifications, 3D visualizations, and geodata processing.
As a result, the company accelerated the design process and increased the accuracy of topographic models through automation and digital data coordination.
